@Tex_actual no Americans were in the "Great Escape"... they certainly helped - but were relocated to a new camp, so III was Commonwealth and Europeans only at the time the 79 left... 3 got "home", 50 executed/murdered, and 26 returned to camp...
4
@brianartillery just 16 in it, mind still 6 engines...
3
And it seems that Dark Skies... wouldn't know a Spit from HMS Repulse... without guidance. But then YouTube for you.
2
'Dark' is so wrong so often I limit my visits... 1 every couple of weeks.
2
2,200 TONS... ... Oh dear.
1
Rough flight... bank on Alitalia and its pilots of 747s... but never a VC-137C. Oh well so so will let another quarter pass before rechecking @Dark...@ and their Sesame Street stories.
1
Had this months quota of 'lies', so not watching.
1
Well smaller than C-5 in length and height, but about the similar wingspan.
1
@MyUAVisbetter NO! It is phrased specifically - since the end of the war, as the 'quote' below... "after the war ended it was believed that blumen vos [sic] was finished but over a century later the company continues operations"...
1
"... retired... (12:28 - 12:32)... a single squadron still operating... " er, F-4 Phantoms. Classic 'Dark Skies' error, next my canoe will be the stand in for a carrier, so is the 'watch' actually a floor mounted grandfather clock, perhaps? : ))))))
1
... well for a non-operational aircraft there seem - as usual with this "fake" channel - to be ground staffing shots... never even contemplated for B29 nor the Shinden. A shame really, brings to question everything else it says... was there even a war in the 40s? : ))))))
1
Yet again historical crap... ... from the audio and auto transcript: "after the war ended it was believed that blumen vos was finished but over a century later the company continues operations as a key manufacturer of large ships and heavy machinery for Germany" VE Day was Tuesday, 8 May 1945... ... and it isn't even Monday in 2045 yet. : ((((((
1
Antarctica, no? With all the flying saucers.
1
A whole Zoo of aircraft... ...
1
Count... one tail fin... ... solo, not twin. : ((((((((
1
Trust of basic data means this was a stone manufactured, for armour, a parachute transporter made jointly by Argentine and Soviet Russia in 2020, for use against Ukraine. Idiots.
1
They should have used the DH Mosquito... ...
1
@stephenpointon or first one, even... "the project was approved but a quarter scale model was required first built by the czechoslovakian company"
1
@tomppeli. the channels normal historical crap accuracy. After all this plane was made by New Zealand from balsa wood in 1920, and won the world airspeed record in 1905, or some such in next months vid. : ))))))
1
merely on par for 'Dark'... next we'll have the Scots Greys at the battle of Nihonkai kaisen. : )))))))
1
@conroypaw So not a combat pilot and definitely not an AH-64 hover boy. : )))))
