Europe will need more 3rd world countries like Algeria in its upcoming geopolitical battle against China and Russia. So if this leads to better relations with Algeria (it will), than yes. North Africa is important to counter illegal migration and human trafficking.

@Weeboslav You have ethnic and religious tensions in Belgium 1. Flemish speaking VS French speaking. The Flemish have been treated bad under the Walloons and the French. To this day the national day of Flanders is the day where they beat the French.... In 1302... Just until last century the Flemish language became recognized. 2. There were protestans tensions between Catholics. That's a logic one, I guess.

The funny thing is that Venezuela doesn't even have the infrastructure to pump the oil they already have in their posession due to sanctions, they even imported oil from Iran once lmao while they have a bigger reserve than Saudi Arabia... So this is just another case of a funny moustache dictator guy that wants to increase his popularity by invading a smaller country. Kuwait and Iraq *cough cough*.

Believe me, it is a myth that here in Flanders everything is going good. Our education is getting lower and lower in the PISA ranks and we are having a massive labour shortage, we don't even have enough teachers! Some schools have started with even giving no exams straight away and giving fun workshops, while our education level is decreasing with the year. Our energy security is gone and we'll face an energy crisis if the French multinational Engie doesn't help us as quick as it can. Our federal government (formed after very long negotiations) is showing cracks again and right wing extremists are probably gonna win the next election.... They promised to make Flanders independent whether it is supported by the other regions or not.... Get ready for a rough ride if you live in Flanders.

@noahsmith4505 The Arab spring was more because of foreign intervention and meddling but the high food prices were indeed a factor.. Some countries like the USA have a too perfect geography to be in a decline. I don't know if you know Peter Zehain, he once said America and its geography is so perfect that it doesn't whether a monkey is in charge, he also said Americans always think it is going bad. Besides, most rich countries aren't that diverse (don't count recent immigration). Countries like Arabic countries were doomed to fail from the beginning and with all the foreign countries trying to get hold on them. Economic security isn't always the solution like in Catalonia or the North-Italians in Austria. You also have Quebuec and other Canadian parts that want to leave. Which is blocked and sometimes like in Catalonia shut down with violence.
