Kamala Harris made a really good point about Joe Biden originally opposing “bussing” that was a scheme to get black kids in white schools after Brown v Board of Education which desegregated schools, “I was one” she said, and got massive applause. Biden looked humiliated. It was a mark of shame on his career.
Then when asked about it in an interview with Stephen Colbert, said “it was a debate”, and laughed. She made a really good serious point to Biden, then after laughed, and showed it was just to make a debate point, not because she believed it. It shocked everyone. You can find the clip online.
Harris was the first candidate of the 2020 election to drop out because she couldn’t win her own state. She barely got 6% she lost massively to Sanders in terms of favourability, in her own state. She couldn’t beat the weaker candidates in that primary such as Kirsten Gilibrand.
As far as scandal, she was an awful District Attorney in San Francisco, and she was very harsh on sentencing, she pushed out more liberal & progressive attorneys, in favour of harsher sentencing for minor crimes. She run to the right on many issues.
Tldr; she isn't sincere but sadly the only one to save the U.S from Trump. If Trump wasn't a candidate she would have lost without a chance
