As an Arab I think it is quite sad that he is the first Arab in space. He is the symbol of what's wrong with our countries: he didn't study or deserve it, but just got it because of nepotism and corruption. Shame.

@haroentmimi Lol, every Arab in the Emirates can have a degree. All family members have at least a master degree but they rarely use it... The state gives you enough money and benefits. And he doesn't have a PhD in Electrical Engineering, but only a master.. Why are you lying? He only has a PhD in datasecurity. Besides, there was no real selection procedure like they recently did in Belgium or other ESA countries. He didn't get it because he was the smartest but because he was the son of his daddy the mighty Sultan.
