@FlukeTog Iran is like that because the USA overthrew a democraticly elected president for oil. You think the Iranians really wanted such a government? China is communist because the USA refused to give them a place in the world stage and gave its double standards and morals priority, they ignored their promise (China had delivered millions of labourors for WW1) to step up against Japan back in 1923 and so they gave the USSR the chance to get communist autocrats to power.

@claireconover 24-48 hours is the maximum in most countries. These guys have been there for years without hearing their charges.

Guantanamo Bay is the ultimate evidence there is no such thing as a country that "defends human rights" or the "beacon of democracy" but only double standards and morals.
