Born in Ireland, I grew up with the Catholic 'Taliban'. Very strict. It was Jesus and His love for children that captured my childish heart. For it is love that gives life to everything. So I cannot abandon all Christianity, but it is the discovery of Sufism and its soaring mysticism that speaks to my heart and soul. Both Christianity and Sufism are based on Love and so I look for what is good in both. There are saints and sinners in both religions, but it is Love that is in the heart of both.
