What about the reverse racism? All people are capable of racism and having black carers for old white people is leaving them vulnerable to punishment racism suffered by staff who've experienced racism elsewhere.

@flon1739 A single person with dementia would require 2 to 3 family members for 24/7 care, as they cannot be left unsupervised, day or night. In the UK, a small country, most people live in small apartments with no room for four people to sleep. It's not practical for one person to do 24/7 care. I know. I tried. There was no support for sole carers. Families are scattered all around the country if not the world. And none of us were trained to handle dementia patients. I did it for at least 7 years as I lived closest, and it nearly finished me off. I slept for most of eight months after my mother died, because I was burnt out. So don't lecture me about care at home, especially if you haven't done it yourself!
