It was so all-pervasive and so fully government and media backed, that the established government system may never quite recover. And the dissenters were proven right not to be rail-roaded into compliance. From this one global experience, the rise of a skepticism, unprecedented in our history, is leading to an alternative view that we each must be self-governing and that a new world can arise from the grass roots - from the people, not the 'elitists'.
