  1. What is really shocking is that the Israeli State is doing the same thing to the Palestinians that the Nazis did to the Jews. The lack of insight and the scapegoating of the Palestinians is indicative of (to me) the State of Israel's highly emotional and reactive state of deep collective trauma as a result of WW2 and the Holocaust, neither of which was caused by the Palestinians. But Palestine HAS been occupied for 75 years, with the consent of the British Empire (Sykes-Picot Agreement 1948) but without the Palestinian's knowledge or consent! And so, this recipe for disaster was created. I had a cousin who joined the British army and served in Palestine, as it was, and his mother had to buy him out of the army because pf the horrors he saw in Palestine. I have also researched WW2 for over 65 years. I can never forget the horrors of the Holocaust and my compassion for the Jewish people is as profound, as it is for the Palestinians, who also have been wronged by this occupation There must be a new era in Palestine/Israel if there is ever to be peace in that land, and the land must be divided into Palestine and Israel with borders strictly enforced. Without Justice, there is no Peace.
