Well, it would be the perfect set-up to take Alexi's earnings from his music, put them on Anna's card, and throw Alexi and his wife a few roubles. Anyone who would do that probably has no conscience, and their clever lies are evidence of that. But, to get him kicked out of his apartment is completely heartless, especially as they are expecting a child. As we say, 'they were easy meat'. And when you caught them out they dumped Alexi and his wife, homeless, pregnant and without paying them properly, and also went around telling lies about Alexi to spoil his life. Are Anna and her 'husband' crooks? I think so. Shame on them.

It's rarely mentioned that prodigies encounter many negative responses; put downs, envy, dislike, criticism, judgement, negation. etc, etc. As a polymath philosopher and a child, I knew that I didn't know anything, and nobody else seemed to, either. I learnt to keep my thoughts to myself. I took refuge in poetry and have written hundreds of poems and let them express my truths and that has to suffice. It has taken a lifetime to accept myself as a philosopher poet. For most of my life, I didn't want to do any of the careers open to women, and I failed at them. Now I accept my true self and I have peace.

@jayAZ9670 Well, I've only been following Haiti since that terrible earthquake, in 2011 if I remember rightly. The thing that stood out to me was the level of political corruption, the very low standard of living, the amount of lawlessness, a belief in voodoo, and a less sophisticated culture compared to first world countries like the US. There was infanticide too, but the US has caught up.
Of course I can't do full justice to Haiti as all my exposure to Haiti is from Internet research. But I feel I am well qualified to comment on the differences in culture between countries, and how difficult it is to transition between cultures, having lived in three Western cultures (Ireland, England and America), for long periods.
Even though English was spoken in all three of these countries, the cultural mores and norms in these countries were so different, that it was brain damage and took years to integrate the perceived reality of these different cultures.
This is the current problem in the West; the huge amount of immigration from cultures that are actually incompatible with and bound to cause friction and culture clashes with the host countries.

@RebeccaTurner-ny1xx There are a whole host of lethal things in our world: cars, chemicals, herbicides, pesticides, aircraft, factory food, weather, sports, surgery, etc, etc, and even crossing the road can be lethal! If we want to be perfectly safe, life itself would be impossible. Life itself ends by being lethal: no-one gets out of here alive! Live and let live I say!!

I feel well-placed to comment on this issue: My mother was technically English. My father was an Irish playboy; they were both in the Irish theatre in Dublin and Indeed all Ireland. We moved to England in 1957 and eventually settled in London, where we fell on very hard times. We spent some time in the East End, at a time when it was particularly grim. We saw the Windrush generation arrive in all their exotic splendour. 'Indian' market traders, up 'North'. Nigerians and Italians, Turks and the Irish. It was an amazing time to be in London,
But in 1970, I packed a suitcase full of party frocks and set off for America and ended up in the San Francisco Bay area- for about 20 years. I came back an American and saw the modern era of UK immigration with fresh eyes. The first rumblings of PC, anti nationalism, modifications to the welfare state, especially housing, all contributed to culture clashes between immigrant groups dumped willy-nilly into rundown council housing. After about a decade of sometimes stormy integration, people started to intermarry and things were looking up when 'diversity' handbooks and training appeared at your job.
And that is where the problems lie. London is a miniature 'globalist project', and the deep flaw in Globalism is that "one size does NOT fit all" and people are not all one size!! Top down Mega Uni-polar governance does not work - worse, it is unworkable!!! It's insane to keep trying.
You can have either a total control grid, or you can have a multi culture, but you can't have both at the same time...

This is the onset of the "World Health Security" globalist strategy to impose total control over the people of the West. I started warning people about this, about four years ago, since I saw and heard an Asian doctor warning about it at great and detailed length. I reposted her warning many times, but the sound on her video was poor and difficult to hear, and I don't know if anyone heard her warning.
It is the use of medical emergency mandates to strip us of our inherent and inalienable human rights, to force us into their control, collectively and individually, and to reduce us to the status of mere cattle, to be 'disposed of' as they wish, under the disguise and pretext of "the common good".
I have an incurable cancer so I have nothing left to lose, which is why I am sticking my neck out like this. It is my duty to warn others of this impending action against us all and our future generations. We must resist this calamitous action with everything we have in us.
God bless and keep every one of us, in Jesus's name.

What really upsets people here is that the official religion of Britain; Christianity, is being suppressed and disenfranchised in favour of wholly alien, incompatible, unwanted and un-integrable Islamic forces which are destabilising the hard won religious equilibrium between both Catholics and Protestants.
Religious wars raged across the whole of the British Isles and Ireland for centuries, with massive bloodshed and political instability and massive destruction across the whole territory, where much was lost and not much was gained.
Along comes Islam, which is dually a religion and a political ideology, and it is tearing open an old wound from Britain's own religious wars, which only ceased when both sides were exhausted from endless religious fighting and political upheaval, and so a tacit solution grew up to drop the whole issue and keep one's religion mostly very private - too controversial for public debates that only stirred up too much trouble for both sides.
Catholics and Protestants give each other religious freedom by not shoving each other's conflicting beliefs down each other's throats. This has not been taken up by some Muslims who come here to take advantage of our religious freedoms, mistaking our equilibrium for indifference and thinking to destabilise Britain by imposing radical Islam as the dominant political and religion culture. This can only be unwelcome and rejected in a country that has been a Christian country and culture for 2 thousand years.

I read Tofler's book, 'Future Shock', in the 1970s and I think that this is what he was warning us about; that the rate of change would eventually surpass anyone's ability to absorb it, or keep up with it. We are there.
There's also the theory that, in the West, the more sophisticated our culture becomes the longer it takes for each generation to mature into adulthood. The epidemic of 'woke' seems to me to represent the rise of a whole generation who are stuck in a morass of immature narcissism as a counter-reaction to the materialist/objectivist point of view.
This is not a new struggle. Philosophy has floundered in the conflict of opposing philosophical views, such as subjectivity vs objectivity, for millenia. To me, the interesting and pivotal point is that these conflicts are a human phenomenon, brought on by the conflicting demands of 'society' and our inner needs for self expression.
We have become unbalanced as a species and that is our core problem in this strange new psychopathic world in which we find ourselves. For humanity to survive this crisis, we must, individually and collectively, rehumanise our world view and become aware that both self and others are necessary for survival.
For self/subjectivity to eliminate objectivity/others, and for others/objectivity to kill the self/subjectivity is to annihilate both. We need a new spiritual awakening that transcends both in order to include both. What we are seeing in our world is this conflict projected, writ large, onto the whole of society.

I feel sorry for Ukraine. And Zelensky. The globalist deep state played him like a piano, and now he has served his purpose they will toss him aside. The deep state has been lining up its ducks for the next wave/s of melodrama. And what of the Ukrainian people and their land destroyed and ruined? Just a while before this war blew up, I was watching 'Bald and Bankrupt', (YT) not far from Donbass, chatting with some babushkas and gopnicks and it could almost have been somewhere in England, a rundown estate, perhaps. Barren and desolated by years of war on their own doorstep. This was always about Putin having to fight the globalist Deep State, lurking in the US, with it's tentacles all around the world and NATO kicking in Russia's back door.
Putin is a real man, not just a panderer to elitist entitlement. No, he's not a saint, but he is a man. He has defended Russia's nationhood, but what a terrible price for Ukraine and its people.
It was taken over by the DS and turned into a bandit's hideout of criminal activity, with reputed bioweapon labs, and money laundering, presumably regulated by the Bidens, (Burisma) and sums of money in the $Billions being bandied about while the bulk of the Ukrainians have fled. This didn't have to happen. It's the old Empire-building mania rearing its ugly head again. Sad. Once again, we didn't learn from history...

It's like an arranged marriage where the Groom (Israel), hadn't much choice, and the Bride (Palestine) wasn't even asked so she had no choice at all, so she feels constantly raped and oppressed and the Groom is constantly taking out his frustration on her by beating her, and locking her in a room, and taking over her dowry.
P/I could have been a paradise of toleration and co-operation between Bride and Groom, if they had both felt they had a choice. They were chained together because of Parents (geopolitics: the British Empire; Palestine was absorbed into the British Empire after the fall of their protector, the Ottoman Empire.
The French Colonisers had a hand in this too; the assigning of Palestine as a Zionist homeland for world Jewry, lumping both Semitic peoples together, Muslim and Jew, with no consideration for different cultures, was a recipe for disaster from the start, and has led up to today. So there you have it.
The Holocaust has effected every person on earth today and the Jewish Nation still carries the psychological scars. That is why they are vengeful. The Old testament says, "An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth..." and that is their view of justice. Similar in temperament and view to some of Islam.
I grew up in a Christian country and have struggled to fulfill Christ's command to love one another and forgive one another. But it is the only way forward that I can see.
This world needs to relearn the value of peace and not just lurch from one crisis to the next, blundering around and destroying everything. If we can't co-operate we will all go down in flames. That way lies madness and death. If we can't co-operate, in peace, we must leave each other alone and create boundaries...

How different things would be if Israel had made it a priority to respect and integrate with the Palestinians, starting in 1947.
It is extraordinary to me the Zionist tendency to push the Palestinian people off their land, where they have been living for nearly two millennia, and then think the Palestinians would not object and fight back. Surely it is an inherent human right to defend the land where we were born and have lived for eons?
My nation, the Irish, suffered a similar fate, but we have outlasted the English sense of entitlement to rule the world. Besides, the Irish are a feisty lot! Over my lifetime I have seen the British Isles integrate Irish, West Indian, African and Jewish and Arab people, with varying degrees of success. I have lived in Ireland, England, America, France and visited even more countries, and met all sorts of people from the four corners of the earth, and all of them responded well to respect and kindness. Just human respect and consideration. I've met all sorts of people and all of them want to be treated like human beings, with a few notable exceptions.
Without that fundamental human quality, is a stable, functional state even possible? I think about the current war between Israel and Palestine. Israel's drive for total dominance or even elimination of the Palestines altogether is getting in the way of their own desires for a homeland. So ironic... But the Palestinians have a right to live too, you know.
Are the Israelis so traumatised by their experiences in WW2, at the hands of the Nazis, that they can't see that they are doing the same thing to the Palestinians? And really the Palestinians didn't seek or create the mess they are in.

Dear Neil Oliver, I would like to ask you to investigate the elephant in the room of Britain's class system. It seems to me that the 'working class' is really the remnant and the successor to the Anglo-Saxon civilisation that was supplanted by the Norman-French conquest in 1066.
The Anglo-Saxons (A-S) were banished to the margins of society and political power, and have formed an underclass ever since. While the conquerors, personified by William (the Bastard) Conqueror, and his Norman French followers, established themselves as the 'In group' and the A-S as the 'Out-group'.
There was a deliberate language barrier with French and Old English in use by their respective cliques or strata of that new hybrid society, as shown in the 'working class' A-S expletives (f**k, B*****d, etc. for example).
And young girls of the Anglo-Saxon, working class/underclass were and are fair game. But now the Labour government has gone into the pimping side of things in a decadent and indecent trade off for migrant bums on seats at election time.
The strange and transient middle classes, despised and emulated by both the other sides, maintain a game of social snakes and ladders that preserves an illusion of social mobility, nowadays dressed up as 'democracy'.
The Battle of Hastings never ended, it just went underground and the unconscious remnants can be seen to this very day. Magna Carta 1215 is the Anglo-Saxon Constitution.
And still the working class are being pushed off a cliff by the lack of industry that they rely on to earn a living. The A-S working class are still being unlawfully 'sacked' and eliminated from their ancient homeland by a self appointed 'ruling class'. Alas.
But what did Henry V say before the Battle of Agincourt that Shakespeare so brilliantly paraphrased, about St Crispin's Day! It could be true today; it could be true in our hearts.

The indigenous Britons have been silenced for decades, first by Political Correctness, and then by imposed 'Diversity' guidelines. I read the Diversity Guidelines Handbook at least a decade ago, maybe more, and nowhere was there any effort made to extend such equality considerations to the indigenous White Christian natives.
I first knew that we were in trouble when I found out that it had been forbidden to fly the (then) Union Jack over Brixton townhall, for fear of causing offence to immigrants from all over the world. Thus Britain has been invaded by people who are not expected, in any way, to respect Britain or the British people. It has been a betrayal of everything English, Irish, Scottish and Welsh; our national identities, our customs and traditions, our cultures and religions, and our way of life that allows us to live peacefully and productively in our own land.
Treason has been committed by successive governments. And why? Because of the influence and creeping control of an entity alien to this land; the Globalists, a communist and antinationalist and antipatriotic set of lunatics infiltrating and co-opting EVERY transnational organisation, from the EU to the WEF, taking in the UN, WTO, NATO, World Banks, etc, etc, etc.
Even the ignorant morons amongst us can see it now. I applaud all those standing up to resist the creeping evil of this organised destruction of our Western Civilisation, so that global communism can be imposed on the free West and the whole world. If it succeeds, we will be facing the same fate as Rome: barbarian invasions and a new Dark Ages. Many will die. They are depopulationists.

@xxgoldmoney I agree. A world view based solely on duality and either/or decision making, with the excluded middle ground, is doomed to endless conflict and lurching from one extreme to the other, leading to paralysis and vicious cycles.
'Both' and 'neither' can be considered, and even 'things we had never thought of' can come into play, and progress can be made, to free us from the quagmire of endless stagnancy we, in the West, have floundered in for so long.
This only gives the evil globalism being forced on us, an opportunity to lead us away from our God-given responsibility to solve our problems with God's help, by asking God to guide us, individually and collectively, to a better future. Cooperation is the way forward. 🤍🤍🤍

There is no confidence left. No trust, no credibility and no reason to give him another chance. He had his chance and he made a spectacular failure of it, from the get-go. To start off with cancelling the pensioner's WFA showed a level of hubris and ineptitude that is character deep and cannot be recovered from.
Starmer is not a politician. He is not a Prime Minister. He is an operator from the hidden hand of the Globalist WEF faction, by his own admission. Never mind a "second term", he's not wanted to finish his first term. He has to go.
But his biggest wrong move was to throw in his lot with the decrepit and discredited Joe Biden, and join him in authorising the sending of ICBMs into Russia, which is a provocation which involves this land in a direct confrontation with a major nuclear power - without any mandate, consultation or support from the British people. Conscription has been rejected, so if Starmer wants war with Russia, Starmer will have to go himself.
I could go on listing his authoritarian wrong moves but they are already well known and protested against, but to threaten the free people of this constitutionally free and democratic nation with punishment, for lawfully signing a government petition asking for a new General election, shows that he is abusing what he considers his "POWER" and he is not fit for the office of Prime Minister and must go.
Free the political prisoners! Support the farmers! RIP Peter Lynch.

Horrified! I am avoiding Tesco for a run-in I had with a customer service rep, in Weston-super-Mare, after a magnetic tag was not remove from a dress I bought and paid cash for at the self-service. Being in a hurry to get home after a very long day, I forgot my receipt. Of course, all hell broke loose when I was leaving. Beep! Beep! Beep! You'd have thought it was the Great Train Robbery and I was Jack the Ripper! The security staff were all over me as if it was a crime not to have a receipt, but fortunately the staff member who helped me with the self service till remembered me and I only waited half an hour while my purchase was tracked and a duplicate receipt was produced.
In that interval I stood by the customer service counter and ended up in a conversation with the woman there and mentioned that I'd had a long day, was heading home after a death in the family, and would this take long, etc. Unbelievably, she brusquely told me she didn't care, as if she was convinced I was a criminal!!! When the duplicate receipt arrived, her attitude did not change and she held the receipt out of my reach and told me to ask nicely for it! I told her to keep it and if I was stopped again I would be calling the police.
I haven't been back to Tesco's since (four months). It will be a very, very, very long time before I go into Tesco again. I didn't think I looked like a thief - I'm an old lady with a walking stick and obviously not able to do a runner! No apology either, for not removing the tag from my item nor for the rudeness from the woman at the customer service. I was traumatised by It all and I cried all the way home in a taxi. Why would I want to shop in Tesco's again after that?

@faithlesshound5621 It does seem like a set-up. All the love bombing in the beginning and then the arrival of the notorious suspected CCP spy, Christina Lee and the immediate kicking off by Newton Leng, the Shouty Guy, and his hysterical escalation into the stratosphere, including the infamous, "Don't touch her!" etc, etc, etc... You can see that Dr K was deeply shocked by it but he stood his ground like a True Brit. It was a horrible attack on a much loved British musician and entertainer, Dr K, and it hasn't gone down well with the British or, indeed, the world!

True, but I am a true Brit and I will not give in to the destruction of a thousands of years old culture and tradition. This somewhat inhospitable isle, given the weather, has evolved a culture of pragmatic cosiness, at the grass roots, which allows them to endure the climate, which is a deadly challenge on most days. And there is something heroic in the cups of hot drink, the banter and chit-chat, the stodgy rib-sticking food and and other homespun pleasures, that make it possible to admire such hardy, practical and creative souls.
