  1. I live in West Australia & we have red back spiders everywhere. My son was 10 when he was bitten at the back of his leg, behind his knee at a bbq, sitting on an outdoor chair. The pain zinged up to his groin (nearest glands). We raced him to the children’s hospital but he didn’t qualify for anti venom because he wasn’t a baby or he wasn’t elderly. It took him a few months to feel 100% well. One tip I tell people here is always check under your outdoor chairs. 🕷️
