As for the title Duke of Windsor it did not mean nothing.. it was important to give Edward a title otherwise he might have stood for parliament just ot embarrass the new King

@yvettevernet4759 strange, when I ask where Camilla or Charles said this or that, I almost never get a reply. Camilla did not do many interviews during her married life and I'd bet anything that there's no interview wehre she referred to Diana as a goose.

@suej9329 it wasn't a parliamentary decision. Diana annoyed the queen who took away the HRH, but Diana had been foolish in ssaying that she would go by the titile of Diana Pss of Wales, and the queen was able to say that it was Diana's decision to take that title.
