@mickeencrua seriously? Charles madea bad marriage and had an affair. He married the lady and has worked all his life for his country. Edward got bored with bieng a prince, and wanted out of the boring duties

@Tugela60 that does not mean that a conscientous decent guy like George VI would not suffer a good deal of stress, doing his job, trying to uplift morale, seeing his people bombed or goig off to fight, and wiht his stammer, making speeches was a hell of a strain on him.
