But she got irritated by F's energy and her bouncy way of getting on with th family for a few years, and in the end, she fell out with Sarah and never spoke to her again.

She slapped her father when he got married to Raine, she pushed Raine, complaining that R didn't show respect for her own mother, but she didn't speak to her mother for months before her own death. But she was on bad terms with both parents, at times. I beleive Charles S has said that Frances was not very good at motherhood but I suspect that was because both he and Diana felt unhappy at the way their parents had treated them, and were not able to get over thier Mother leaving the family home.

I dont entirely blame the Spencer children for disliking Raine but pushing an old woman dowstairs or kicking her things around was going rather too far in getting angry with her. And there was gossip about Charles' having had an affair with Cam and still being her good friend... so I cant imagine that Diana, whose sister had also been C's girlfriend, did not know of the affair and only found out just before the wedding. Royals live in a small circle and tend to remain friends with old lovers. Anne is sitll friendly with Andrew PB. Diana knew that Camilla was part of Charles' life but she cut her off from their guest list for some time.

The queen said that these matters had not been sorted out, and Diana was jumping the gun. SHe was not pleased at all with Diana and offically removed the HRH, but it was announced that the decision was Diana's, since she had made a premature announcement. Once Di was divorced it was unlikely that the queen would let her keep her HRH @pianoreigns

Seriously? Even before Di's death his fiancee appeared, and sued him for breaking the engagement. She said that he was seeing her on the side and paying court to Diana. I never said she organised the marriage, but she did invite Sarah to things where she woudl meet Andrew and she hoped I think that Sar would marry him and that would mean she would have a young sister in law whom she liked to have fun with. obviously it was up to Andrew and Sarah whether they married, but I think that at that time, Sarah was keen to get married, and probalby would not need much encouragement to get involved with Andrew.
