  1. Diana was not a member of the RF, and her own family initially wanted a private funeral. It was up to them. Then they saw the public mourning and felt that they had to give Diana a more public funeral. htat entailed cooperation with the RF. They did very well to organise it all in 7 days

  2. what nonsense. Diana and Charles did not suit each other. Diana clung to her love for him, and her posistion as Princess but she was bored with him fairly soon and he was bored wiht her.
