It seems that when he went away, Charles paid him some money in a lump sum, to get started in his new life, but he did not pay for security, and then Harry complained that his father did not take his calls after a while.

@Guitar-qv6gu it is not how the line of succession works. the monarch's eldest son automatically becomes Duke of Cornwall, but the POW title has to be conferred. Edward VII did not confer it on his son George for some time after he became king, because for a long time the title had been associated with himself.

@michellenonnalagares985 People com up with poisonous ideas about the RF, and this is largely because they pick up ideas from shows like the Crown. If you ask them where they got such and such an idea from, they will say it was in "the moive" and they believe it implicily. If the producers of the Crown are sincere in not wanting to make te RF look bad, they would put a disclaimer on the show.
