@blazingfire_0712 they spend way too much on non core spending like teaching or research. Very large salaries to administrators and shiny campuses that look like a multi billionaire was trying to go broke. Meanwhile destroying their reputations by making up sham courses to tailor to students who just want a work visa.

@TheBooban there’s lots of students technically following the law but they’re just doing sham course after sham course designed by educational institutions to just take their money in exchange for the right to remain here with little legitimate education. They may not actually attend any classes in person etc. some company makes money pretending to educate them, while they drive for Uber or whatever instead. Meanwhile there’s a massive housing shortage that we don’t let enough builders into the country to even prevent from getting significantly worse.
