@lloydbelle3406 not really, not even half of eligible voters voted to leave, even when promised contradictory and provably false outcomes. If people thought the vote would succeed, more would have turned out and voted no. If people were told what the consequences would be honestly by those advocating it, more would have voted no. Basically it was so poorly handled and unexpected a minority of people dictated the result because of the apathy of the others when were assured nothing would change.
