@chrisrivers9818 because the convicted felon told you that doesn’t make it true.

@DevMocherla if Presidential immunity applies to anything more than presidential acts, you no longer have a president but a dictator/king. There wouldn’t be anything stopping them sending the military after any opposition.
2
@mr.x817 defending a convicted felon found guilty of sexual assault because ‘y’all are after him’ seems pretty stupid. If he murdered your kids would you still defend him? Going after people that are guilty isn’t a bad thing. Screwing America because you would rather your team win than your leaders be honourable is absurdly stupid.

@gregchrist5090 Sessions let the investigation continue, it wasn’t shut down until Barr took over. It took until Barr was there to get the bank records.
1
@Rotwold knowing where it came from and where it went still requires the information from the bank. For an individual bank $10m might be a rarer transaction but it just a blip in the sea of swift transactions, assuming it even used swift. There are other ways of transferring payments outside the US visibility. The fact that something showed up is what got them asking for the records in the first place!
1
@Volvary this, tariffs increased input costs and counter tariffs made it hard for US companies to sell overseas. Outside limited scope tariffs where another country is substantially subsiding an industry the US wants to keep on shore they’re just bad for everyone. And in that case they’re just bad for US consumers and any exporters that get caught up in retaliatory tariffs.
1
@jdskale the Russian thing was proven true, people went to jail for it and everything. Pardoned by Trump though on the way out. But all Trump needs to say is ‘hoax’ and that the report showed he was innocent and count on his supporters to be too dumb to actually read the report. It works.
1
@tidusandjecht10 the laptop that had nude pictures on it, that one? The one republicans kept being upset when Twitter removed them? The one that they couldn’t find anything else of use on despite spending millions of dollars of taxpayer money investigating? That one? The one belonging to a President’s son convicted of a crime no one else would even be charged with?
1
@stallionspirit9317 guy wasn’t a billionaire before he won, he just pretended he was. After he’d siphoned off taxpayer dollars he now probably is.
1
@reboundrides8132 the truth isn’t biased, it’s reality. Just because you believe in a fiction doesn’t change reality.
1
@research_think_choose yes Trump was caught on tape trying to get Ukraine to pretend Biden did something in exchange for military aid. That’s all anyone has found on Ukraine if you exclude the known Russian FSB agent republicans were quoting…
1
@colebelfry the Vice President doesn’t have any power to set policy. JD Vance won’t do anything either unless Trump eats one too many cheeseburgers.
1
@nicholasvangaasbeek5908 yeah why don’t police investigate murders that don’t happen!
1
So the video points out a Democrat was convicted of the same offence so where’s the bias here? Accepting donations from people in other countries is illegal. Accepting donations to PACs from people in the country should be illegal but it isn’t. You can thank Republicans and citizens United for that. $10 million got them a lot, it might not be a big deal for Trump now he’s spent years fleecing the taxpayers and his supporters but it was a big deal given he was likely nearly bankrupt (yet again) before he became president.
1
The house Republicans have spent years looking for even the slightest evidence of that and produced a report proving it never happened. The closest they came was getting information from a Russian FSB agent that turned out to be easily disproven. Don’t think Johnny can do a better job than the Republicans disproving that.
1
@guydreamr waiting for Biden to order seal team six to take out Trump, after all, the Supreme Court says that’s legal. Or do we think it’s only legal when one President does it?
1
Got any leads? Other than the Russian FSB agent republicans embarrassingly wheeled out before realizing. Republicans have spent 4 years investigating Biden with congressional power and come up empty.

Banks in most countries share records, usually to track down tax avoidance. Even the Swiss banks these days are sharing. I get why you think this would be an American thing but it’s really not. Outside a few countries like Russia/China etc this is just a thing. It’s part of the agreement to be part of banking systems that allow money to be moved easily. A bank could refuse but then might find their access to global markets is severely limited.
1
When you’re buying someone cheap it doesn’t need a lot. Just saying nice things about him will get you US nuclear secrets.
1
@LisaHansen-u8j did you not watch the video? Statute of limitations? Political appointee killing the investigation? They did do something about it and it turns out that if you appoint your own judges and AG you can kill action on anything until it’s too late. Do you have the opposite opinion on the things they did take action on? The 34 felonies he has been convicted of, the sexual assault he was found to have committed? The people in his campaign that went to jail for being undeclared Russian agents? When there’s rock solid proof and people are actually convicted it’s waved away as a witch hunt. When an investigation is politically killed it’s ‘because there was nothing there’. Just admit, there’s no proof you could see that could change your mind. As Trump himself said, he could shoot someone and not lose any votes. Reality is not important to his supporters, just feeling right.
1
@Chatbot1280 I don’t think it takes a genius to work out Don Jr left some behind. Have you seen him?
1
Any company that wants to do business with another country has to follow their rules, the same applies to US companies in China etc. The alternative is just to not do business with said country. That’s an existential crisis for a Bank if they don’t do business in the US.
1
Ground news doesn’t check facts they will direct you to both left and right sources and let you decide. There’s definitely a lot of fake right wing stories they link to.
1
The truth hurts. That’s why people reject it for slogans.
1
Which disproven things about them should he cover?
1
@DallaS.88 the US spends more taxpayer dollars per person on healthcare than any other country. It’s not shit because of lack of money, it’s because one party refuses to give the government power enough to dictate how it should be spent, instead relying on a chain of private profit takers to distribute it, all taking a cut.
1
@LoserDub or worse, look at how much money was spent during 2020, still a record and all the money printed is still causing inflation! Free money is popular until you’re still paying for it years down the track. Imagine if the pandemic had been competently managed at the federal level, the economic damage would have been lower, the stimulus lower and inflation lower.
1
@brisvegas859 it’s not really, the US debt is largely denominated in USD, and a huge amount of it is owned by China. In some sense the debt is actually a defensive weapon against any action by China. The main problem is the inflation to do with tax cuts for the wealthy given in 2017/2020 and money printing mostly in 2020.
1
@silvio2603 it absolutely was but there was less denial of reality once caught, the perpetrator sure, but there was at least some public sense of honour among politicians that they at least cared to be seen to be doing the right thing. Now they just dismiss reality as fake and their supporters stick in their own bubbles doing the same. The public stopped holding politicians accountable, and they stopped holding each other accountable. I remember 20 years ago someone lost their job over a bottle of wine. Now we’re ignoring blatant corruption.
1
Well there was an investigation into that, several people in Trump’s campaign went to prison for being undeclared Russian agents, then Trump told people it was a hoax and the report that showed it to be true actually showed it to be so, and he just counted on people believing him and being too stupid to read the report or see the convictions. And it worked!
1
@LordDaveKoresh except for all Trump’s appointees and campaign staff that went to prison… you know, except for that. Then Barr buried it. And Trump pardoned them on the way out of office. But as long as you actually just believe Trump and don’t bother to read the Muller report itself, sure you can get the idea it says whatever Trump tells you to believe.
1
@Zeetana1 has to actually be something there to investigate, and it’s much easier to find something suspicious in the mountain of sunstantiated allegations against the convicted felon than in the pile of baseless accusations the Republicans have spent 4 years disproving about Biden/Harris. You’re basically asking why police don’t investigate the murders of people that are still alive.
