@MC-wh3xm nope, not literally. Germany, France and Canada all declined any involvement in Iraq and no NATO structure was involved at all. The US invaded Iraq, many non NATO and NATO allies joined them. But as much as you might want to make it that way, it has nothing to do with NATO. They shouldn’t have invaded, but there were not many deaths due to the absolute overwhelming force. Both Saddam prior and the IS after killed hundreds of thousands times more. Deaths are much higher when the sides are more evenly matched.

@exnihiloadnihilum5094 last time both Israel and the Palestinians had leaders that recognized the two state solution the Israeli’s assassinated their own PM to stop it, The PLO has recognized the two states for almost two decades, so Netanyahu propped up Hamas to ensure it wouldn’t happen. While the US has a veto the status quo will remain, just like everyone regards Taiwan as a country but ‘it isn’t officially’ because China doesn’t and has a veto. Most of the rest of the opinions on either are just seeking favour with someone or another. The UN still doesn’t recognize Israel’s expanded borders as Israel either.
