@arnoldguisa4155 that is not true anymore unless you're living under a rock or can't afford for good internet connection. It is 100°, the soil is deprived of any water, wildfires on a weekly basis, the air is toxic and the plants are not growing. Everything is moving up to the north. So what California once was is probably going to be Washington state, denmark, austria, the north of italy, and in another 50 years probably greenlands. The Glory Days of California are over it has become too hot. And if you live within 50 ft near the beach you can excuse yourself by making up a story but even there it's too hot

Of course because comparing it to the Philippines it is a big step up. But if you compare it to Europe it is really scary to us Europeans

The Bay Area is one of the best places to live because it has those Family Values yet to technology nerdiness of all the companies being there like apple, google, salesforce, adobe, and who else not. It's like a candy store for a tech nerd. Yet unlike in Hollywood people don't drive around in massive expensive cars jamming up freeways day and night. They are inside coding away and then returning to their rather humble and nice homes... einem der verschlafen, eleven los angeles, in einem from Europe Paris so yes it's hard to match Europe squality of life , especially where I am from, Switzerland and austria, in the south of germany. But I'm telling you the Bay Area is very close and I see a lot of things that are a bit similar.

@Norcaloutside sunnyvale, Stanford, Palo Alto Mountain view, those are the places that apple, Google Etc call their headquarters. One time I visited Steve Jobs original garage, there was epic. The homes in these mountains and neighborhoods are multi-million dollars and very very safe... Walnut Creek is East East Bay and doesn't really count anymore but it is a nice area.

That is not true. It has the same size as Germany and a slightly smaller population in Germany has a much bigger gross GDP. The UK , manufacturing everything is more influential and more powerful economically than California California would be number 8 or 9 worldwide but Germany would be number four. So California needs to stop bragging about this because many European countries are richer and more influential. If you combine them all it's nothing but a speck of dust compared to the European Union

@rlreynos you are a little clown. California is nothing compared to France or Germany which is number 4 and 5th largest economies in the world. You only have Federal aircraft carriers that happened to be in california. They don't belong to California they belong to the president. What are you talking about

@n1vg San Bernardino is not larger than Switzerland which is the size of maine. Also you have like 50 times the amount of mountains so it takes 8 to 9 hours to go from a to b. That would never happen in San Bernardino dude. Also Switzerland is about 20 times the Gold's California ever had storage in their volts. It's one of the richest countries in the world. It's per person wealth is about triple that of any californian. If you compare California to Switzerland all you will do is lose

@Dee03 they do not belong to California they belong to the federal government .

TimmyMcGeeTVR yeah but so does italy, france, spain, and Portugal they all have mountains the olive beaches and obviously nicer cds, better food and cleaner air and better climate. Because while they have Sunshine they have also still some rain to make everything look green. Rather than yellow and gray
