My eyes are blue, my teeth are yellow, my skin is pink, my lips are red, my hair was brown until it went gray. I am a person of color. Gimme free stuff. Are African-Americans colored? Less colored than me.

@chilomine839 I recall 50 years ago when people were called "colored". Muhammed Ali was among those who said, "Don't call us colored, we're black". Then black folk said, "Don't call us black, we're African American". What will it be next year?

@chilomine839 Agreed. I'm white, my wife is oriental and our son is halfnhalf. As soon as he was old enough, I showed him the clip from the first JJ Abrams "Star Trek" movie, where three older Vulcan boys intimidate the boy Spock. I told my son, "If ever anybody insults your mum, you have my 100% approval to do what Spock did".
