  1. Many definitions of "conservative". I was a Conservative Party activist for 29 years, but I was really a Thatcherite. I allowed my membership to lapse under Cameron, and I'm not going back. These days, with a few exceptions, the UK's Conservative Party is Labour with a pretty blue label.
