  1.  @tc5273  Our geography teacher told us something interesting during the 1970s. My town is a seaside holiday resort. The Council wanted to boost the town's temperature to make it seem warmer. So the Council changed the weather station to a location which they knew would be one or two centigrade warmer. And the result is climate change. True story.
