  5.  @mikepxg6406  Reminds me of Frederick Douglass, the escaped slave who became an abolitionist before and during the American Civil War. He said, "I appear before you today as a thief. I stole my body from my owner". Similar with the BBC. I steal my viewing, but I refuse to pay for it.

  6. @A lie repeated 100 Times will never be the truth That's how dissent is controlled. Like Ian Hislop, the editor of the anti-establishment "Private Eye" magazine. Give him a long-running TV series and the opportunity to make a few documentaries, and he'll eat out of the BBC's hand for the rest of his life. Offer a contrary view and the BBC will smother and kill your career.

  7. Ian Hislop and Private Eye used to be counter-establishment. The BBC bought him by paying him for HIGNFY and several documentary series. Now Hislop and Private Eye will never make a statement or run a story which is contrary to the BBC's narrative. A very smart move.
