  1. It's weird that Trudeau would praise a former Waffen SS soldier as a defender of liberty. To be fair to Ukrainian Nazis, Stalin deliberately imposed a famine on Ukraine during the 1920s and 1930s. The Soviets murdered as many Ukrainians as the number of Jews murdered in the Nazi death camps. The Germans who invaded Ukraine were seen as liberators. Many young men who'd seen their families murdered by the Russians unwittingly allied themselves with one devil in order to protect their families from a different devil. Easy to be wise in hindsight.
