  1. The greatest black person in British history was King Gezo of Dahomie. He ordered that, at his funeral, hundreds of his slaves should be beheaded until there was sufficient blood in a pit to float his coffin. The horrific spectacle was witnessed by British traders, who reported back to London. This resulted in the Royal Navy being sent to destroy the slave trade. Nothing about this in the BBC's propaganda.
