There was no fuel crisis. Until the moment the BBC and the rest of the media declared a fuel crisis, and told people not to panic-buy. Which caused people to panic-buy.

@georgehetty7857 The BBC and this government share "common purpose". Their differences are by design. It's like communists, Marxist-Leninists, socialists and Trotskyites. They all hate each other but they've got common purpose.

@egverlander I drove past my local garage at 11am. There was no queue. I did a couple of hours of work, whilst Jeremy Vine was unloading his shite on BBC Radio 2. Vine was talking about how there was no need to panic-buy fuel, because there wasn't a fuel crisis. I drove past the same garage at 3pm. There was a big queue, tailing into the street. Thankyou very much, Jeremy f*cking Vine and the BBC.
