  1. Bradford's cadet forces were ordered not to wear their uniforms at their war memorial on 12 November. I've seen a comment that the same applied in Solihull. Amazing that youngsters getting training in the virtues of discipline and adventure can't go out in public without being beaten up by the newly-arrived locals.

  2. I wonder how many Bradford lads died in Flanders mud in their Pals' Battalions. They never envisaged that schoolkids would be too frightened to wear their nation's uniforms in public.
