  1. EASY WAY TO DO IT: The Government should set up an asylum application centre in Calais. Every person in France who seeks asylum in the UK must apply via this centre. Any person who arrives in the UK from France WITHOUT a successful application will be returned straight back to France. Very easy, simple and cheap. A great idea, but the British government has no intention of stopping illegal migrants.

  5.  @frankreynolds4547  There are TV shows about customs and immigration in New Zealand. Try entering NZ with an apple or the wrong type of visa and you'll be chucked out on the next flight. Meanwhile, here in the UK...
