  1. As a kid in the 60s and 70s, I loved the "Commando" war stories, small booklets with fictional stories about fighting the Hun or the Jap. Heroic tales of bravery, where the Jerries shouted "Gott in himmel!" as the plucky Brit's Spitfire or Mosquito tore up his panzer.
