I recommend visiting the Great Dorset Steam Fair, held annually over the same weekend. 100,000+ visitors, more than 99% Wight. Several stages with live music all day and into the night. Lots of beer tents and stalls selling local farm cider. Zero police presence, zero stabbings. Some cultures are better than others.

@incurableromantic4006 Forgive me if you've seen my same comment on other channels. It's a useful comment and the comparison is valid.

@AdrianJayeOnline "Wight" because YT routinely renders my comments invisible. Capital "W" because it references the Isle of Wight, thus confusing the algorithms. Leftists patrol channels like this and routinely report every comment they disagree with as H-speech. Hard to know which word or phrase triggers the AI.

@whataboutusshipman7760 Haha!

@johneyton5452 Thanks, I'll remember that phrase.

@brianperry My comment references culture, not the R-word. You are searching for R-ism where there is none.

@Omulosi Yes, 'cos otherwise YT's algorithms might cancel my comment.

@samhassan683 It's true that the analogy between the Steam Fair and the Carnival is comparing apples with shoes, they ain't the same. The biggest difference is that the Steam Fair is ticketed whereas the Carnival is free, but another factor is the demographics. All of these factors deserve to be taken into account. None should be ignored.

@davidbetts9332 Thanks. Lots of my comments get disabled by the algorithms 'cos they're falsely-reported as H-speech. I've written on videos about Xi Ping and China, "I've never trusted the Chinese since Mr. Washee-Washee stole Peter Griffin's shirt", a Family Guy reference. If I leave that comment now, the AI disables it. I predict you and I will see this reply but nobody else can.

@samhassan683 Another example is the Blandford Georgian Fayre, an annual one-day street event. Hasn't happened since covid. Tens of thousands of visitors, 99% white, almost the only non-Europeans were the Gurkha soldiers who drew admiring and respectful appreciation from everyone who saw them. Zero lootings or cars set on fire.
