I was a juror a few years ago. The defence barrister was absolutely effin useless. Jurors are allowed to write questions and have those questions answered by the court. I asked several questions which queried the evidence, and I reckon I did a better job of defending the accused than his barrister did. We found the defendant not guilty, which was disappointing because he was a horrible person.

AGREED 100%. As with the alleged rapist who was recently found not guilty after 17 years in prison. The police are now recognised as having deliberately withheld evidence which would've exonerated him. I distrust the entire judicial system. EDIT - Is this reply visible, or did YT render it invisible as usual?
