  1. I'm in a southern English town. Not saying where, but it's big enough for two Parliamentary constituencies in the urban area. So not small. In the 1960s there was only ONE black bloke in the entire town. He worked as a gardener and wore a big overcoat. So unusual, people would stare at him from buses because they'd never seen a black man before.
