@scrubsrc4084 Historians tend to use the term "Anglo Saxon" to differentiate between England during the pre-Norman era and the post-Hastings era. In reality England had already been named. Regardless of whether you were among Cnut's Viking followers, the land itself was known as England.

@theprincipalofficer_1 I liked the way that Morgan Freeman was inserted into "Robin Hood Prince of Thieves". It added an extra dimension for audiences in the US without diminishing the original story.

@missc4079 Those dynasties ruled England like the way the Nazis intended to rule their liebensraum in eastern Europe. Harshly cruel. Didn't speak English. Their descendants still rule us today.
