  1. I attended the Great Dorset Steam Fair on the same weekend as the Notting Hill Carnival. Beer tents open all day. Lots of farm cider stalls. Live music all day and far into the night. 200,000 visitors, 99.9% white. Zero police presence. Nobody got stabbed. No cars overturned and set on fire. Some cultures are better than others.

  2.  @justsayin644  But if the BBC sent cameras, they'd find the one black family and film them. Or Gary Lineker would complain about racism deterring black folk from attending.
