  4. I recall a BBC Tomorrow's World programme from the 1970s, explaining why it's impossible for small hand-held devices to carry live images in the style of sci-fi shows. The BBC also broadcast a Horizon science documentary in the mid-70s, proclaiming the world would 100% run out of oil by the 1990s. I now observe the BBC's proclamations about climate change and I'm sceptical of their reliability.
