@manuelcoutinho9426 Mussolini and his dad were communist/socialist activists, and frequently arrested by the police. Mussolini's form of socialism accepted the Church. They partnered with private enterprise instead of seizing its assets. The word "fascist" comes from the "fascine" symbol of ancient Rome: Weak sticks bound together, which become unbreakable.

@warpspeednow Individual sticks are easily broken. Bundle them into a tight pack, bind them together and they are unbreakable. "Fascines" are bundles of sticks, as used when tanks need to cross trenches.
