  1.  @mugi2595  Walking among the great buildings of Westminster resembles walking among the ruins of ancient Egypt or the Mayan temples. The stones remain but the great civilisation which built the city has destroyed itself.

  2.  @spm36  I live in what used to be one of the whitest large towns in England. The upsurge in non-huite numbers over the past two years has been enormous. Half the people in my town centre are BAME, nearly all male, all of them young men of military age. It's coming YOUR way soon.

  5.  @mrmhj9925  I can't see any way out of this. A few decades from now, we'll have a civil war equivalent to the worst of the Irish troubles plus the breakup of Yugoslavia. And when it happens, the BBC will blame Brexit.
