  1. Dickie Attenborough spoke about "groupishness" during the filming of his movie, "Oh What a Lovely War". He said all the extras dressed as officers sat together, whereas all the extras dressed as privates sat separately, Attenborough claimed this was down to British class-consciousness. I've also seen a TV documentary about the making of Charlton Heston's "Planet of the Apes". Apparently, all the extras dressed as chimps sat together, as did the extras dressed as gorillas or orangutans. It appears groupishness is a natural human characteristic.
