  1. The Japanese referred to their dead in WW2 as resembling the cherry blossom, having died at the moment they reached perfection. I wouldn't say that about the Japanese murderers of WW2, but the term can be used about the fall of western civilisation. You and I are witnessing its collapse, at the moment it was reaching perfection.

  2. 30 years ago, South Africa generated more electricity than the whole of the rest of Africa combined. It's slowly becoming like Upper Volta, but without the civilisation. Coming soon to many British & US cities. Some cultures are better than others.
