  9. Greece was occupied by the Turks, who were exceedingly cruel and deliberately smashing-up Greek ruins to make concrete fortifications. Lord Elgin saw what was happening, paid a big wad of cash, paid loads more to transport the marbles to the UK and saved them for the world. Greeks should go down on their knees and thank Lord Elgin and the British because, if Elgin had delayed, the whole lot of them would've been destroyed forever..

  29. Labour didn't win because they received a huge vote. The turnout was only 37%. Labour won because persons who usually vote for the other parties stayed at home. None of the mainstream parties in Scotland or the rest of the UK are worth voting for.
