At the age of six, my son wanted to become a ninja turtle. The surgery wasn't available on the NHS, so we flew to Thailand and paid a lot of money to have a shell grafted to his body. That was eight years ago, and we can't buy a school uniform to fit over his body. Our son is increasingly unhappy. He's resents his parents for permitting him to undergo permanent life-changing surgery based upon a temporary childhood whim. I wonder whether pandering to the wishes of sexual predators who encourage children to adopt homosexuality is something similar.

@BlookbugIV We all change as we mature. As a kid, I used to believe we lived in a great democracy where our best and brightest citizens would govern us wisely for the benefit, prosperity and safety of our country and people. Damn, I was so feckin wrong about that.

@Ann-qf5vk Thanks. I've also left comments, pretending to be a middle-aged white balding fatso who self-identifies as a Nigerian schoolgirl. I described how I enjoy using the school showers among naked girls of my own age, but way sists always beat me up 'cos I'm b1ack. Sadly somebody thought I was being serious and reported my comment. Now every time I leave that comment, YT remembers my phrasing and renders it invisible.
