Nigel has always needed to be very careful about being described as a dangerous nutter. I recall about ten years ago, when EVERY episode of "Have I Got News For You" had a hate-piece about Farage. Eventually Farage was invited on the show. He was mocked without mercy but laughed it off. Nigel could easily be cancelled like Tommy, he needs to seem mild despite any real inclinations.
