  1. The council in my big town put double yellow lines throughout the entire town centre. You can't park your car unless you pay via a meter. This has killed the town centre. Businesses are dying. Half the shops are closed. Virtually the ONLY part of the town centre with free on-street parking is next to the town hall. "Do as I say, not as I do".
