@JagdgeschwaderX I distrust the police and the judicial system. There are too many cases where it's been proven they've deliberately sat on evidence which would've exonerated the accused. Consider the case of Stefan Kiszco. A life sentence offers the opportunity for new evidence to be considered.

Stefan Kiszko was jailed for life for murdering a child. Decades later he was exonerated after it was discovered the police had failed to disclose evidence which proved he definitely could not have committed the murder. Similar situation with the man who was recently released after 17 years in prison for grape. The police sat on evidence which exonerated him. Do I trust the judicial system? No.

@JagdgeschwaderX Every part of your comment is true. Then there was the problem with sub-post offices. Dozens of persons were falsely-convicted of stealing £thousands. All were imprisoned. Most were bankrupted. Some committed suicide. Decades passed before it was realised all of them were 100% innocent. It'd been a glitch in the PO's own software. Would I trust the criminal justice system? No.
