  3.  @TheHistoryChap  Niven had a friend called Trubshaw. He inserted the name into every film he made, a bit like Hitchcock making cameo appearances. Miss Trubshaw was in "The First of the Few". Only ONE Niven film didn't have the reference. He filmed a scene in which he called his dog "Trubshaw", but the scene was deleted.
