@honestjakes Free will & consequences are given by God...he doesn't micro-manage like you're alluding.

@honestjakes God is involved, but He gave us free will to choose as we wish. Those actions - good and bad - have consequences. He helps those who call on Him, but we are not judged (rewarded or punished) until judgment day. I'm not sure if you're asking for relevant scrulipture or not, but I'm certain you can find that easily.
