If congress has these powers how come Harbour Group (a lobbyists agency) can so easily subvert those for one of their main clients, in this case Saudi-Arabia and Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman in perticular or Bibi Netanyahu's rightwing nutjobs ? If the US congress is so vital to US political and national stability is it so easily infiltrated by these Lobbyists, why no checks and balances on that ? No accountability leads to cleptocracy easily followed by nepotism and quickly turned into a nationalist fascist deeply corrupt draconian state as a result. The field was right open for Trump to plough though without any real resistance.
