Because you've got a moron for a President that thinks he can steal valuable research from Germany (not gonna happen btw) to fill the gap of knowledge because the US hasn't invested real money into a social healthcare department that can deal with this and he knows it. And because the man in charge of "containing"⬅(that's train has already left the station in the USA, just an FYI) is a moronic Evangelical zealot whome believes the bible will guide him to a solution and he'll just needs "to pray on it" for a while. You'll only be getting nothing but word fluff from the both of them, while people die, mostly late 60 and the over 70 year old's, whom funny enough are the Boomers that voted for Trump in the first place. Same in the UK, there too it was that generation that voted for Brexit and to put the Tories and it's leader Boris Johnson in power. That Conservative party is the very same party that opted for "the herd contamination" option that in theory would have had many people infected creating mass immunity for the next wave, but that option only works if you already have a viable cure and can scale it's production fast (they don't btw). The side effect of a policy like that is tens of thousands (or maybe more) deaths of mostly this Tory voting Boomer gen,...prematurely. COVID-19,...is it Karma or just Darwinism hard at work ?!
